Ashdale Engineering was one of the first companies in the UK to be registered under the Health and Safety Executive's original criteria for In-Service Inspection activities - the National Certification Scheme for in-Service Inspection Bodies (NCSIIB).

The company is now accredited (as a Type 'A' body) by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to the current international standard ISO/IEC 17020:1998, with scope of accreditation including the In-Service Statutory Inspection of lifts, cranes and lifting equipment (including industrial doors), boilers and pressure systems and local exhaust ventilation systems.
