Mass and centre of
gravity determination
The mass and centre of gravity of skid mounted units must be accurately determined at completion of assembly to enable them to be safely lifted and transported and, in the case of oil rig and similar applications, to enable the final positioning of the unit to be confirmed.
Ashdale Engineering have some 15 years experience in this highly skilled work, which can be undertaken at the client’s own site anywhere in the UK or Europe. We recognise the realities of project work and will always seek to accommodate very short notice requirements where only a narrow window exists between completion and shipping dates.
The mass and centre of gravity determination will be carried out under the scope of our ISO9000 Certification by a professionally qualified and specially trained engineer, who will himself complete the calculations and raise a final Mass and CoG certificate at the client’s site on completion of the weighing.
