Masts & towers

Ashdale Engineering is qualified to carry out examinations of tall structures, including radio transmitters and receivers, training towers, water towers, and high mast lighting towers.

Periodic thorough inspection is appropriate to ensure the safety of both the persons and property in the vicinity of the tower, people climbing the tower and the structure itself.

An examination will fully assess the safety of the structure, its fixed attachments, access and guy ropes. An examination will also identify relevant maintenance issues in conjunction with Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) where applicable, the PPE regulations and also the Work at Height Regulations (2005).

Our mast and tower inspection team are Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) qualified, fully trained in confined space as well as working at height, and have the experience and knowledge to undertake these examinations.

A detailed summary of our findings and recommendations is then issued in a clear report format.
